Organic Hemp Protein and Maple Pecan Oatmeal
As the weather gets colder, a breakfast smoothie may not fit the bill as it once did during the summer months. To get the same protein packed benefits of your beloved protein shake/ smoothie, try this warm oatmeal recipe!
The Recipe
2/3 cup plain quick oats
2 tbsp nubeleaf Organic Hemp Protein Powder
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice mix or ground cinnamon
10 chopped pecan halves
2/3 cup boiling water
6 whole pecan halves
pear slices
1 tbsp pure maple syrup (divided)
Directions:
Between two bowls add all the dry ingredients and 1⁄2 of the pure maple syrup. Boil water and add to the oat mixture. Stir and let thicken. Top with pecans and pears and cinnamon.
